The UEFA European Under-21 Championship is just around the corner! Come to cheer the home team during a showing of the eight best teams of the continent and at the same time the most prestigious tournament that the Czech Republic has ever hosted. From the 17th to the 30th June the most talented Czech and European footballers will meet at two locations in Prague – at Letná and at Eden – and additionally in Olomouc and in Uherské Hradiště. The Czech team will be featured in the “Prague” A Group, together with Germany, Denmark and Serbia. The B Group, which will find its temporary home turf at both these Moravian stadiums, is comprised of Italy, England, Portugal and Sweden. The anticipated battle for the title at this “little” Euro will be supervised by the tournament ambassador, Pavel Nedvěd. Advancement to the Olympics in 2016 will also play an important role. During the second half of June the Czech Republic will become the football centre of Europe, resultant from which the best under-21 team will be crowned on the 30th June at the Eden Stadium in Prague.
