Russian soprano Olga Peretyatko is celebrated by the press as "coloratura phenomenon". Enthusiastic ovations of the audience after each of her appearances confirm this.

Olga Peretyatko comes from St. Petersburg, where she began her musical career at the age of 15 in the children's choir of the Mariinsky Theatre. She completed a course of training as a choirmaster before enrolling to study voice at the Hanns Eisler-Hochschule für Musik in Berlin. Olga Peretyatko has already been among the prizewinners in several competitions, e.g. the international Operalia competition in Paris, where she was awarded second prize.

From 2005-2007 she was a member of the opera studio at the Hamburg State Opera. Then she has guest appeared at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Berlin State Opera Unter den Linden, Bavarian State Opere in Munich, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro and at the Festival La Folle journée de Nantes. Olga Peretyatko attracted international attention as Rossignol in the acclaimed production of the opera of the same name by Igor Stravinsky at the Aix-en-Provence Festival in 2010. Later she performed this role also in Amsterdam, New York and Canada. Future commitments will take her to Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro (Matilde di Shabran), Opéra de Lausanne (L´elisir d´amore), Vienna State Opera (Rigoletto), Hamburg State Opera (L´elisir d´amore and Ariadne auf Naxos) or in 2013 to Mozartwochen in Salzburg and to the Salzburg Festival (Lucio Silla) alongside Rolando Villazón.

Olga Peretyatko has worked with such renowned conductors as Daniel Barenboim, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Renato Palumbo, Marc Minkowski and Alberto Zedda. She has an exclusive recording contract with Sony Classical. In 2011, this label issued her highly acclaimed CD "La bellezza del canto” (with Münchner Rundfunkorchester conducted by Miguel Ángel Gómez-Martínez).
