LIMP BIZKIT
Limp Bizkit with a frontman Fred Durst were formed in 1994. Three years later the band experienced from supporting Deftones and House Of Pain on tour released their first official studio album Three Dollar Bill Yall´  and set off to the long tour with Faith No More and Primus. Their status got stronger thanks to a heavy rotation of their videos on MTV which gave them their first awards on a release of their second record Significant Other from 1999. With several hit songs like Break Stuff, N2gether Now or Nookie the album sold amazing 4 million copies. The breakthrough album came next - Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water from 2000 elevated the band to the top of charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
In 2001 the first quarrels in the band started and a guitarist Wes Borland left the band the same year. Limp Bizkit released a remix album New Old Songs in 2001 without Borland with artists like Timbaland, Puff Daddy, Xzbit, William Orbit, Butch Vig or Everlast. Limp Bizkit found a substitute for Borland in a new guitarist Mike Smith who recorded Results May Vary in 2003. In 2004 Borland returned to Limp Bizkit and they released an EP The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1). Greatest Hitz was released the same year but the band got into a turmoil again. Borland leaves the band and other members start working on their own projects. In 2008 Limp Bizkit rose from the ashes and announced a new album. Three years later the album Gold Cobra was released and the band returned to the stage too.
Although an exact release date is still unknown Limp Bizkit have prepared a new album Stampede Of The Disco Elephants, from which two songs have been streamed so far - Ready To Go (a common single with rapper Lil Wayne) and a cover Thieves – originally by Ministry.
