Besides from the spectators in the Czech Republic, this performance has been repeatedly visited by the spectators in Poland and the Slovak Republic in past four years. Over seventy performances have been played with a great success and unprecedentd interest of public in past four years.
Performances will take place from August 25 to August 31 as the part of the XVII. year of the international Festival of Czech-German-Jewish Culture Nine Gates 2016 (9 BRAN).
This year the Lustig Train carries the name "The Train of Salvage" and as the part of the accompanying program will bring for us not much known facts from the period of the second world war. This year will be dedicated to Shanghai, where over 30 thousands of European Jews saved their lives from the cruelties of Nazi regime in Europe thanks to the visa-free travel policy of China then.
