One of the best German orchestras, the North German Philharmonic Rostock, the excellent Kühn Choir od Prague, Romana Vaccaro, soprano, and the American star tenor Marc Heller (among others he occurred at the New York Metropolitan Opera) will perform compositions by Beethoven, Dvorak and Shostakovich, including the famous Prisoners' Chorus from Beethoven's opera "Fidelio".
The conductor Ulrich Backofen, a native of Dresden, who was himself a victim of totalitarian despotism in the former East German GDR, has the direction.
